Hello Families- My name is Mari Carini. I live in Fairport but am originally from the Buffalo area. I have 2 children, Jessica and Jack, who are now both in college, so I will have lots of spare time in the coming years. I have been married for 24 years, My husbands name is Dan. We own an excavating company and a Karate studio here in Fairport. I also have two bengal cats. One is 6 years old and the other is 1. They are so much fun!!
I have been in education for over 20 years. I graduated from Buffalo State College with a BS in Education and then went on to get my Masters in Education at Nazareth. I also hold a certificate in Special Education. I have taught many grades over the years but have really found my passion to be Preschool. The kids at this age are like sponges, soaking up all the new knowledge they can get. I find it super rewarding when the kids come in in the fall and I see the leaps they make in all areas when they leave. This will be my 6th year teaching PreK4 at St. Joseph's.
